Historic Rogers Street Fishing Village and Museum exists to provide for public benefit interpretation, education, and preservation services for artifacts, buildings, archives, and collections entrusted to our care that pertain to the rich history of Two Rivers, its lakeshore region and its people, with special emphasis on: the old French East Side, its families, fisheries, and the commercial fishing industry born there; the old U.S. Lifesaving Service, U.S. Lighthouse Service and U.S. Coast Guard stationed in Two Rivers; and the history and heritage of the many shipwrecks discovered off our shore.
